Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, Toilet Ek Prem Katha fights for the problem of ‘open defecation’ in India. It’s a step ahead for the ones who support the so called Indian culture with a story or plot.

The Hindi line, “Biwi paas chahiye toh ghar me sandaas chahiye.” is a perfect for the ones who seriously need to change their thinking. Akshay Kumar with his new film again stands up for the country’s major problem.

According to a report by Firstpost, the story is inspired by a bride from Uttar Pradesh called Priyanka Bharti who left her marital home and returned only when her husband built her a toilet.

Akshay’s dialogue “battameez bol lo madam lekin bhaisaab mat bolo” beings a smile to the face of the audience, although there are more like that. The lovestory of Akshay and Bhumi is wonderful.

Toilet Movie Plot/ Story Review

Keshav (Akshay Kumar), the son of a Manusmriti-following brahmin, is waiting to get married for years. To neutralize his stars, he marries to a Buffalo.

When Keshav does eventually find bride Jaya Joshi (Bhumi Pednekar), she compels him to think about building a Toilet in their house. She threatens him with divorce if he doesn’t do her bidding.

And for this, the actor fights for all the right things and then ultimately change the thinking of the village with a strong message. His song, ‘Toilet Ka Jugaad‘ listed some of the eye-opening facts about India.

It’s a story that delivers a really important social message about personal hygiene and proper sanitation system in rural areas of India. After back to back Hits, Khiladi Kumar is all set for giving another Blockbuster to the Indian Cinema.

Overall, Toilet Ek Prem Katha gets 3 out of 5 Ratings. The critics praised the story and the acting of Akshay and Bhumi. Bollywood’s Analyst Taran Adarsh said in one of his tweets says,
